Art has undergone a reversal in its' new political arena. It's importance is now based on who the creator is rather than achievement and quality of work. This I protest and resist. As an individualist, I look for the same in my patrons.

John is an Internationally recognized sculptor, a Professional Level Member of the International Sculpture Center and periodically exhibits in International Art Expo New York. He has worked in many mediums over the years: Bronze, Wood, Resin, Ultra-Violet Minerals as well as a line of gold & sterling silver jewelry.
John Zidek exhibits in Major Cities across the nation. In 2007, he received "Best of Category" 3D Non-Functional in Gold Coast Art Fair in Downtown Chicago which was voted the #1 Art Show in the Nation.
John's newest wall sculptures combine fabricated Copper and Hand Blown Glass. This unique and original work is achieving great success. He is also experimenting with floor, pedestal, lighting, water features and wind sculptures.
John was born and raised in Franklin, New Jersey. His father, John Zidek Sr., was first generation American, his family having come from Czechoslovakia. His mother, Edna, is a Daughter of the American Revolution. John has also lived in Stroudsburg, Pa., Los Angeles, Ca., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He now resides in Pennsboro, WV.
