About Dr Gonzalez (PhD)
Dr. Anga Gonzalez (PhD) is a highly skilled Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Doctor and women’s health specialist with three decades of experience at the forefront of holistic reproductive healthcare. Through intensive study and hands-on experience across prestigious international clinics, Dr. Gonzalez has developed a deep expertise in obstetrics, paediatrics, and hormonal health. She integrates her experience as a Doula with advanced knowledge in Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, and most recently Functional Medicine, engaging a wide range of hands-on therapies to support her client’s back to a state of health and wellbeing.
Dr. Gonzalez’s comprehensive knowledge of fertility and obstetrics enables her to effectively address chronic illness, support hormonal balance, and enhance reproductive health. With a special focus on fertility, pregnancy and early childhood, she offers paediatric support, providing personalised treatment plans for individuals and families at every stage of their health journey.
Her career has taken her from studies in China and California to roles at renowned clinics, including Zita West Fertility Clinic in London, The Tuset Clinic in Barcelona, and the Berkeley Acupuncture Project in California. As the newest member of our team, we are excited to welcome Dr. Gonzalez, whose unmatched knowledge of women’s health will empower our clients to achieve lasting health transformations.
Education
Dr. Gonzalez holds a PhD in Women’s Health and Herbal Medicine from Shandong University, China, a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, California, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Physiotherapy from California State University. She has completed advanced postgraduate training in fertility, pregnancy disorders, functional medicine, nutrition for autoimmune disease, and more.
A NCCAOM Board-Certified and licenced Acupuncturist, and certified Doula, Homeopath, Paediatric Homeopath, Massage Technician, Craniosacral Therapist, Arvigo® Practitioner and Herbalist, Dr. Gonzalez’s expertise spans multiple disciplines. Her commitment to deepening her knowledge is unmatched, and she has mentored students at respected institutions, including the College of Chinese Medical Arts Daoist Traditions and the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Gonzalez brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her practice, empowering her clients to achieve lasting health and wellness.
