If it makes you feel better
MNU played their B-Team and got dingdonged 4-1 by Brentford, then 2 late goals to make it 4-3

That was like I was watching a mid 90’s relegation scrap, just a bunch of free kicks, miss placed passes and overall very low quality.

1-1 is a decent result for us, no injuries a bonus
but the poor football and lack of teamwork is worrying

and we still need to get rid of the weakest links who are way below epl top half table standard

A nice little sleep needed in the second half, by the players and myself. Rested up for Thursday.

Good result with a rotated team. On to Thursday. I have read the comments on this thread and some of you really need to step back. You are kidding if you dont understand why Ange selected the team that played today.

No problem with the players he selected today.

I do, though, have a problem with the fact that - after almost two years - he has failed to implement a discernible system which allows squad players to slot in so that we look and play like something resembling a team.

Davies all over the place again

Been a great servant but think his time is up at Spurs. Wouldn't give him a 1 year extension.

It was just dross really. I have to agree, the lack of cohesion was sad. And after two years, it relly should be better.

Yeh, thats where I am, you see other sides with varying success slot players into places where they seemingly know their role. Just does not seem to be the case here. I would argue many in the first team don't know their role

That is consistent across the past 3 to 4 managers.

Yep, the club is on a bad run of appointing managers

The other ones have all been sacked. He’s still here.

We've seen it for enough years, under multiple managers, that many changes always leads to a poor performance

Can't remember a time when that happened. Even under Poch when we had to change more than one player the whole house of cards looked significantly more fragile 9although that was partly because the gap to the bench was bigger as well).

Indeed. I was not looking any further back or forward than these 94 minutes. I could even mitigate the tediousness of them, given the importance of Thursday, but thought I'd hold back...errr, wait LOL...

Since the beheading of Poch for his obsession (now now, no comments about pot/kettle please LOL), you could almost say Daniel's cursed?!!

We never looked clueless under Poch. And there was always a feeling (up until the last few months of his time with us) that the momentum was forward.

In short, then, the polar opposite of now.
